Data Deployments considerations to keep in mind before using Data Deployments with Copado.

There are a few things to consider:

Only Upsert Operation Is Supported

Data Deployments allow you to insert new records and update existing ones, but unfortunately, data deletion is not supported.

No Rollback for Updated Items

As any other data remediation tool, once you have performed an update, it is not possible to revert the records to their previous values. We encourage you to back up your Organization’s data regularly (using Salesforce Weekly Data Export, for instance) so that you can ‘restore’ the records if the query used did not suit your needs.
